The "ICT in STEM Education - Impacts and Challenges" "On School, Administration and the Private Sector" highlights the most relevant findings in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education and provides policy recommendations for schools, policymakers and the private educational and technological sector on how to better integrate these innovations in schools.
This report demonstrates that the subject of ICT in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is an ever more alive subject with many exciting new developments and opportunities; especially those promoted by the variety of stakeholders concerned with the educational benefits of technology for STEM subjects and for society at large.
The ‘ICT in STEM Education – Impact and Challenges' highlights the need for STEM industry, schools and governments to work together to identify the challenges and to make sure that Europe reaps the full benefits of digitisation in education and ICT technologies.
The aim of the series is to provide suggestions and guidelines for all stakeholders interested in promoting ICT in STEM education at both primary and secondary school level as well as to contribute to the challenge of integrating ICT tools in STEM education and improving students' learning and attitudes towards STEM subjects and careers.
