Date & time: Wednesday, 21 September 2022 at 17:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time)

Description:

On September 21 at 17:00 CEST, the STEM Alliance, Scientix and GSMA organized the webinar "Discover mSchools and join the Competition".

mSTEAM modules offer multidisciplinary project and challenge-based lessons that promote learning through scientific inquiry and engineering processes, engaging students

During this webinar, participants had a chance to learn how mSTEAM modules, created in collaboration with the Centre for Genomic Regulation, and Nano Educa promote inquiry-based learning and support teachers by offering them valuable resources which they can adapt to their classrooms. Let's close the gap between science taught in the classroom and scientific work done by research centres, academia and industry partners!

Let's learn about the hands-on experiments and their practical applications, and finally - the STEM Alliance - GSMA competition! Two modules will show students how to use their mobile phones for exciting means and ends, such as building a microscope or getting to know and share local urban art. At the end of the event, the speakers have happily answered to the audience questions and explained the steps needed to participate in this competition."
