Drones, 3D-Printings, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, to name just a few, are already a reality in most Petrochemical companies, demonstrating that the sector needs more than ever creative minds and fresh ideas to experiment new technological innovations.

This webinar gave the opportunity to students to speak directly with the people responsible for implementing these break-through technologies - such as Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers and Technology Managers - and discover how these innovations are applied and used in the company's operational processes.

Martijn Schouten, M&A and Global Manager Joint Ventures at Vopak Martijn Schouten is a 43 year old senior manager from the Netherlands. He has studied and worked almost 15 years abroad. Having studied in two European countries making use of the EU Erasmus Program, started in international career with Royal Vopak. Now Martijn has worked on large energy projects, leading new business development in Asia out of Singapore as well leading a large organisation in Thailand. Currently globally responsible for commercializing Vopak's IT business as well investing in promising IT/OT start-ups.
