Description

This lesson plan was developed by Microsoft as part of the Minecraft game's set of educational resources.

Minecraft Education Edition is a game world that can be used to engage students in learning STEM-related subjects. The game's approach supports the development of critical thinking, creativity and collaboration, skills that are essential to STEM education. While following the lesson plan instructions and playing in the educational environment, students are prompted to find solutions to the various problems presented by the teacher.

This lesson can help students to work on collaboratively design and to create their own Cathedral in line with their own research about Cathedrals. They can also strengthen important skills such as critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.

Students will receive some guidelines to help with tuning into the activity.

The lesson plan is in English.

Other Minecraft lesson plans and a tutorial guiding through Minecraft Education Edition environment can be found in the Practice gallery.
