Description
This tool provides a hands-on experience for kids on how to train a machine learning model and build a game of it in Scratch.
Machine Learning for kids is a guided practice to introduce children to coding, machine learning, and further their understanding of these technologies and their applicability.
The platform offers guidance in using the tool and creating your own project. It also has template projects (under Worksheets), if one wants to start learning through pre-defined objectives, such as creating a smart assistant to your virtual classroom devices. These are available to download and are suitable for different difficulty levels and project types.
Every project is a stand-alone activity and users have a choice of downloading one of the available projects or to create their own projects. There is also a possibility to submit new projects in the repository and provide feedback and suggestion for improvement for the available projects.
This tool is developed and supported by IBM.
