Description

mSTEAM has been created to introduce mobile technology in the STEAM curriculum that might trigger scientific and technological vocations amongst students from an early age.

This initiative offers multidisciplinary projects that cover the following topics:
- Graffitis in the Nano-world
- The Complexity of Life
- The Adventure of Navigation
- The Life of Water
- Oasis of Biodiversity

As a part of each project, mSTEAM offers a set of challenge-based lessons that promotes learning through scientific inquiry and engineering processes by introducing the mobile phone as a pocket laboratory with the capacity to carry out scientific experiments in the classroom and beyond.

Every mSTEAM project is structured into modules of approximately 6 to 12 classroom hours designed for students 9 to 14 years old. All the modules have a similar structure: a preliminary activity, various sessions, a closure activity, and lastly, a final challenge for students to go one step further and consolidate what they have learned.

The access to the ready-to-use free resources will be granted upon registration - account creation and its confirmation by a user.

The resources are accessible for download in the following languages: English, Spanish, Catalan.
