On October 9 at 17:00 CEST, the Scientix® STEM Alliance, the Future Classroom Lab, and Intel organised the "Innovative Approaches from Intel® SFI Ambassadors and EU Educators" webinar. Join us for an engaging webinar where four Intel® SFI Ambassadors shared their innovative approaches to bringing integrated STEM teaching through digital literacy in the classroom. Stavroula Skiada introduces the Eco Narrative Starter Pack, designed to incorporate environmental storytelling into STEM education. Semih Esendemir, a winner of the Intel SFI Educator Challenge 2023, demonstrates creative ways to merge science, IT, and music through coding activities. Silvana Jakimovska Binova presents practical applications of robotics and virtual reality in mathematics, emphasizing collaborative learning. Finally, Todor Atanasov discusses the 'As a Matter of Fake' starter pack, providing insights into using NLP and machine learning to teach media literacy and critical thinking. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.

Silvana Jakimovska Binova is a mathematics teacher with more than 17 years of teaching experience in primary education.

As a national trainer, Silvana has contributed to the creation of resources and the realization of trainings within the 21st Century Schools Program of the British Council and the Trainings for critical thinking, problem solving and microbit; the National Platform for Distance Learning of the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia; the Media Literacy Project of USAID; the mathematics curricula according to the new concept for primary education in North Macedonia, etc.

As Scientix and Intel's Skill For Innovation ambassador, Silvana actively works to promote the application of the STE(A)M approach, technology and the development of skills for the 21st century in teaching through the presentation of examples of good practice at webinars, seminars and conferences. This aspect is also shown in her active participation in a large number of international initiatives for promotion of STEM teaching, among which is the STEM Discovery Campaign, within which she has repeatedly received recognition for quality created resources and implemented teaching activities.
