On November 3 at 17:00 CEST, the STEM Alliance, Scientix and Trane Technologies organized the webinar "Decarbonization of our cities", where experts from Trane Technologies talked about decarbonization of our cities and introduced you to some of the career profiles in their industry.

Trane Technologies are experts in building cooling and heating systems, always advocating for sustainability, eager to create a better world for generations to come. With this webinar, they want to inspire you to educate your students on sustainability and raise awareness about environmental issues and share recommendations classrooms on how we can reduce emissions in our cities, in both buildings and transport refrigeration.

 


SPEAKERS

Ronald Herpst

Ronald Herpst,
Senior Product Manager

Ronald Herpst is senior product manager, scroll compressor chillers and heat pumps, for Trane Technologies. He joined the company in 1988 as HVAC system sales engineer after graduating from the University of Applied Sciences. During his tenure at Trane Technologies, Ronald has held various business development roles, including in EU governmental affairs, where he advocated for more challenging legislation for HVAC equipment energy use and carbon emissions. His career has focused on the balance among comfort for building occupants, affordable sustainable HVAC solutions, clean air and responsible use of resources.


Yezuhel Gonzalez

Yezuhel Gonzalez,
PMO Leader of the Thermoking EMEA Business Unit

Yezuhel González is the Project Management Office (PMO) leader for Trane Technologies' Thermo King transport refrigeration business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where she oversees new product development. In prior years, Yezuhel worked in the aerospace industry in a variety of engineering, technical and program management roles. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in global innovation management.


Marie Dunne

Marie Dunne,
Vice president of Information Technology

Marie Dunne is vice president of Information Technology for Trane Technologies' Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Based in Galway, Ireland, she has held IT roles of increasing responsibility for the company for over 20 years. Graduating with honors from the University College Galway, Marie also earned her CPA certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Her current role involves overseeing people, processes and technologies to ensure the enablement of business goals.
