Two representatives of petrochemical manufactures presented how STEM-trained professionals can concretely transform the petrochemical industry to meet its future challenges. They retraced their careers, identifying the unique opportunities that this industry offered them.
SPEAKERS
Loraine Phillips, Born in London in 1965, Loraine studied Chemistry at Loughborough University and joined ExxonMobil upon graduation in 1987. Since that time she has held 20 different positions in England, USA and Belgium, where she currently lives with her husband, their 2 teenage sons and their beloved Hungarian Vizsla dog. She has experienced European and Worldwide roles in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Technology and Corporate Strategy. She is currently the Global Cyber Security Executive, responsible for leading the team driving resiliency to the increasing risks. Her passion is to fully enable talent potential through Inclusion and Diversity, key to the innovation that is essential to meet society needs for today and for our future.

Serge Renaldi, Serge Renaldi is the Senior Account Manager at Dow France based in Paris. With Corporate Account leadership role, he has served in several commercial and business development roles since 1995 particularly in Dow Industrial Solutions, as business development leader in France, global account leader in Polyurethanes, and Director of SAFECHEM FRANCE. Serge is holding a Chemical Engineer (MSc) diploma from the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Organique et Minerale and a master in process engineering from the Technology University of Compiegne.
