In the context of the "STEM Alliance – Minecraft: Education Edition Competition", Microsoft and STEM Alliance organized Office Hours for all the potential participants to the competition.

The Office Hours were one-hour sessions where Microsoft mentors offered an overview of the "Active Citizen" Challenge. The purpose of the sessions is to give the opportunity to participants to ask their questions regarding the challenge.

In the challenge, students journey alongside Nobel Peace Prize laureates to solve problems and learn key skills, then bring their vision of a more democratic, peaceful world to life in a final Minecraft build challenge.

SPEAKERS

Nina Zibert, Global Minecraft Mentor Nina Zibert is a Global Minecraft Mentor and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. For the past 3 years Nina's goal has been to help educators and students across Europe embrace game-based learning as a part of their teaching process. She is an advocate of using modern educational tools in school and has been helping educators integrate Minecraft: Education Edition into their classroom.
